Many of us are looking for safe, outdoor activities to fill our weekends. Florida’s Tampa Bay Beaches are a stretch of gulfside beach communities that have hundreds of local businesses to visit and things to do. We have highlighted the top 5 events to enjoy during January of 2021!
BEACH POLO CLASSIC
A vast change from the Beach Volleyball matches on St. Pete Beach. Reserve your own private seat to watch the “Game of Kings” at the Pink Palace. This two-day event will include two 3 on 3 Polo Matches with 4 Chukkars (plays) per day. Enjoy the open air and the beautiful beachfront views while watching one of the world's oldest team sports.

Time: Saturday: Noon to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

27TH ANNUAL COREY AREA CRAFT FESTIVAL
This annual craft show is back with a socially distanced twist. Enjoy this two-day outdoor event while exploring hand made art from over 100 of the nation's most talented artisans. There are many different hidden gems to find. The festival will have a variety of jewelry, pottery, ceramics, photography, painting, clothing as well as plants, orchids, exotic flora, handmade soaps, gourmet spices and freshly popped kettle corn.

TREASURE ISLAND KITE FESTIVAL
Watch giant, colorful kites dancing in the wind over the backdrop of Treasure Island beach. Watch as expert flyers perform dual-line and multi-line sport kite flying, kite ballet and hot trick competitions. There will even be opportunities for demonstrations where even beginners can learn how to fly.
When: Saturday, January 16th - Sunday, January 17th

JOHN’S PASS ARTS WEEKEND
There's no surprise that small businesses need our support more than ever! The John's Pass Arts Weekend and Handmade Market Place is a three-day outdoor event, celebrating 80 locally owned arts & crafts vendors and the 14 restaurants that reside in John’s Pass. Live music and family friendly activities planned with social distancing and safety. Join in on the weekend fun and help support local businesses and artisans hurt by the pandemic!

MUSIC IN THE AFTERNOON
Pack your picnic basket and grab your chairs to enjoy an easy Sunday afternoon in the park. Sit back and enjoy the sounds of Lew Barrows & the Rhythm Kings while taking in the waterfront views of Horan Park. This is a great way to enjoy some fresh air and relaxing before the week begins.
