What is a Visitors Center?

What is a Visitors Center?

Visitors centers, sometimes referred to as information centers, are a physical location that exists to provide information to visitors, whether it be at an amusement park, a business headquarters or a specific destination.

The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce has two locations, our Visit Florida certified visitors center in St. Pete Beach and our John’s Pass information center. Our centers are tourism based, so our mission is to provide information to our visitors, people moving to the area and locals about the Tampa Bay Beaches

Both of our visitors centers are open to the public to provide anyone with brochures, menus, maps of the area, coupons, and suggestions for local businesses. Our visitor center employees can share their knowledge of the area and answer any questions you may have. Our main building on St. Pete Beach even offers some exclusive chamber deals, like discounted Busch Gardens tickets.

Don’t be afraid to pop in, no question is too silly and there’s a little something for everyone to take away. Some of our most common questions are “Do you have any transportation here?” and “What can we do today?”.

If you want to be in the know about everything our beaches offer, you can find some of the best businesses, discounts and information in our Tampa Bay Beaches Visitors Guide. Refreshed every year, this guide is full of up to date information about hotels, attractions, dining, shopping, and more. These guides are free for pickup at our St Pete Beach location or can even be mailed to your house!
