How To Get Involved: Tourism Advocates Committee

WHAT THEY DO: 

This committee works to educate all interested members in tourism promotions, events and advocacy efforts for our geographic region. Through a series of presentations, conversations and round table discussions, the Tourism Advocates Committee works to expose and educate individuals on the value and impact that tourism has in our local area.

THE VALUE: 

In our area, everyone is impacted by tourism. As a member of the Tourism Advocacy Committee you are able to get to know the area and build strong relationships with professionals in the tourism industry. Each meeting offers an opportunity to get the most recent updates on Pinellas County tourism from industry partners, elected officials and experts.

WHO SHOULD JOIN: 

Get involved if you want to:

• Learn how the tourism industry affects you or your business
• Make new contacts
• Find out about events and happenings in your community
• Learn about the overall impact tourism has in your area
• Hear from guest speakers from the tourism industry

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
