About Us
Tampa Bay Rescues is proud to be an amnesty rescue, working closely with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide a safe haven for animals that are not able to be returned to the wild. Approximately 95% of the animals we care for are exotic pet surrenders, and we are committed to providing these animals with a loving and secure environment.
Tampa Bay Rescues Discovery Center is an interactive education center where visitors can learn about the local ecosystem, wildlife conservation, and the impact of human activities on our environment. Through engaging exhibits and educational programs, we strive to inspire a love for nature and a commitment to preserving our natural resources.
