About Us

Positive Impact Worldwide is a St. Pete based non-profit, established in 2003, that provides FREE groceries to families in St. Petersburg, FL.
Positive Impact currently provides enough FREE food for OVER 22,000 meals a week, 86,000 meals a month, and OVER 1 million meals a year!

Hunger knows no boundaries — it touches every community in the U.S., including our own. There are nearly 1 million people struggling with food insecurity throughout Tampa Bay, which affects 1 in 6 adults and 1 in 4 children.

Our primary FREE Groceries Distribution Event is held every Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Everone is welcome; no registration is required!

Simply drive through, POP your trunk, and we DROP groceries into it.

Awards and Recognition:

2019 Awarded Keys to the City
The Key to the City of St. Petersburg, FL honors distinguished persons, honored guests and outstanding civic contributors to the city. The presentation of a Key to the City can be traced back to medieval times, when cities were enclosed by walls and locked gates. This medieval tradition is meant to confer trust and honor. This award is seen as the ultimate act of esteem. It symbolizes the freedom of the recipient to enter and leave the city at will, as a trusted friend of city residents.

2017 DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. HUMANITARIAN AWARD
Awarded to Jay & Karalynne Brubaker, founders of Positive Impact Worldwide. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award is annually presented to a humanitarian within the community of St. Petersburg, FL who embodies and exemplifies the characteristics promoted by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.—''a vision of peace, persistence in purpose, and inspirational action.''

PTC Community Partnership Appreciation Award
Jay & Karalynne Brubaker, along with Master Chef Lennox Preudhomme, Assistant Administrator Charles Drake, and Beau Norwood, Administrator of Pinellas Technical College in appreciation of the longstanding exemplary support of the college's culinary program & continuing contributions to the program's success at Pinellas Technical College.
